Restaurants and Food

When we travel as a family to Moab, most of our meals are made at the condo where we can relax and enjoy our time together. Cooking your own meals is a great way to save money on your trip and provides you with the chance to get healthier options for your family.  But with all the adventures we find ourselves in, sometime we simply don't have time to do our own cooking.  Here is a list of the restaurants we enjoy.

Moonflower Coop

The Moonflower Community Cooperative is not only a fantastic organic and natural products store, they have many items to grab and go for breakfast, lunch or dinner. If you have dietary restrictions (vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, etc.) I highly recommend checking out the Moonflower. They are located at 39 E 100 North in downtown Moab.

Pasta Jay's

Pasta Jay’s is a great Italian restaurant. Our family primarily eats vegetarian and we have no difficulty finding delicious pasta, or pizza choices at Pasta Jay’s. Located at 4 S Main Street downtown Moab.

Quesadilla Mobilla

This seasonal food truck has a variety of quesadillas and offers quicker service than sit down restaurants.  It is typically located on the west side of Hwy 191 in the center of town.  My favorite meal is the vegetarian sweet potato quesadilla.

Milt's

Even though our family leans vegetarian every once in a while my husband just has to have a hamburger and there is none better than Milt's.  Milt's is one of Moab's oldest businesses.  In addition to burgers we love their milkshakes.

Mo Yo Frozen Yogurt

Typically when we visit Moab our sweet tooth gets the better of us and when it does we head to our daughters favorite place for desert, MoYo frozen yogurt shop. Tons of toppings and several frozen yogurt choices available.  MoYo is located at 331 N Main Street downtown Moab.

Red Cliffs Lodge

On our last night we’ve usually eaten just about all our groceries, so we head for the Cowboy Grill at Red Cliff’s Lodge. It’s a bit further out located at Milepost 14, Highway 128. The delicious food and amazing views of the Colorado River and Fisher Towers while dining are worth the drive out of town!
